At Spinelli CPAs, we don’t merely provide services to the community—we are part of the community. Our mission to be more than accountants drives us to get out of our comfort zones and serve our neighbors in diverse ways.
Many of our team members regularly give their time to causes close to their hearts, and they often carry that passion over to their professional roles by getting the entire team involved. Other community projects are a team effort from the get-go, from food drives to holiday gift collections to clean-up days.
For us, providing great service means finding ways to give back.
Cleaning Day at The Boys & Girls Club!
Spinelli CPAs helped get the Boys & Girls Club of Leominster and Fitchburg ready for upcoming summer programs, cleaning the clubhouse inside and out. Team members washed windows, cleaned chairs, unpacked and organized toys, and refreshed the greenhouse.
It was a productive and rewarding day!
Drive for Fitchburg State Food Pantry
Spinelli team members collected dozens of nonperishable food items for donation to Falcon Bazaar Necessity and Food Pantry on the Fitchburg State University campus. Volunteers included FSU alumni (pictured from left to right) Brenda Sanchez, Karen Spinelli, Megan Riendeau and Michael Restuccia.
Thanksgiving Food Drive for Abby’s House
The Spinelli CPAs team organized a Thanksgiving food drive for Abby’s House, a shelter and housing provider for women and children in Worcester. Alongside other organizations such as National Grid and Herb Chambers Companies, the firm helped bring over 90 holiday meals to hungry families!
MSCPA Day of Caring
Spinelli CPA proudly participated in the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) Day of Community Service. Team members spent the day landscaping the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester–and giving back to a community that helped them thrive in their first year of business.
Holiday Giving Tree for LUK
Spinelli CPAs participated in the Giving Tree holiday gift drive run by LUK, a not-for-profit social service agency in Central Massachusetts dedicated to improving the lives of youth and their families.
Spinelli team members fulfilled the wish lists that decorated the “giving tree” in their office, purchasing brand new gifts to be distributed to local households in need.
MBA Mortgage Golf Event
Spinelli CPAs participated in MBA Mortgage’s annual “Big Event” at the Stow Acres Country Club. A golf outing and fundraiser for _____, the event brought together entrepreneurs from all over New England for a fun day of competition, networking and giving back to the community.
