Helping Older Adults Stay Connected in a Digital World

Technology plays an increasingly important role in everyday life, from staying in touch with family and friends to accessing healthcare, information, and community resources. ESWA’s Tech Connect program helps older adults build confidence using technology and overcome barriers that may prevent them from fully participating in today’s digital world.

Whether someone is new to technology or simply looking for additional support, Tech Connect provides guidance, education, and assistance tailored to individual needs. The program is designed to help older adults use technology more independently while increasing access to important services, social connections, and opportunities for engagement.

Through Tech Connect, participants may receive assistance learning how to use devices, navigate online services, communicate through video calls and email, access telehealth appointments, and troubleshoot common technology challenges. By building digital skills and confidence, older adults can stay connected to the people, services, and resources that matter most.

One-on-One Assistance When You Need It

Technology can sometimes feel overwhelming, but help is available. ESWA’s Tech Connect team provides individualized support to help older adults navigate devices, answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and learn new skills at their own pace. Whether you need help setting up a device, using an application, accessing email, or learning how to participate in a virtual appointment, Tech Connect is here to assist.

Expanding Opportunities Through Technology

For many older adults, access to devices and reliable technology can be a barrier to staying connected. Through partnerships and special initiatives, Tech Connect helps eligible participants gain access to technology that supports communication, independence, and access to services. In some cases, eligible individuals may receive devices and connectivity support that help them connect with healthcare providers, family members, caregivers, and community resources.

Learning Technology at Your Own Pace

Tech Connect empowers older adults to develop practical technology skills that support everyday life. Participants can learn how to communicate online, access telehealth services, locate information and resources, use applications, and take advantage of tools that promote independence and social connection. The program focuses on meeting individuals where they are and helping them build confidence through hands-on support and guidance.
